Over the past year I’ve been rebuilding a game we were running up until 2012 – an old-school medieval/fantasy MMORPG. We launched it again a few weeks ago and have had a solid number of players jump in, so I wanted to bring it to the Outputgaming community as well.
It’s been a bit of a passion project. I’ve tried to optimise it for both Browser and Mobile, without having to resort to an App you need to install.
It’s fully free to play, with no ads and no pay-to-win. There’s a Premium Currency you can earn through in-game achievements and challenges, which is aimed at letting you step away from the game for longer stretches without falling behind, alongside perks like Avatar Cosmetics and extended Energy caps. Sigils are the premium currency, used either to purchase Noble time or to pick up cosmetics in-game. I’m also happy to say Outputgaming.org is partnering with DragonSwords 2 to sell Packs of Sigils to players.
I’ve brought back the old avatar generation we used to have, and upscaled all the avatars and assets from the original game. The pixel art and avatars are mostly classic from the original, but our team is working on implementing more of them over time.
You’ll find old-school text-based combat logs, multiple areas, clans, and plenty of quests, challenges and achievements. It’s easy to fill at least an hour a day with, or keep it as quick as a 5 minute daily login.
There’s also a cut-down “Guest” workflow, so you can run through the tutorial and build up your character’s stats for a few days before committing to a full registration.

What are Sigils?
